The song is an uptempo track that takes inspiration from the melody of “Las Divinas,” a song from the soundtrack of the Argentine television series “Il mondo di Patty,” performed by Brenda Asnicar. Indeed, the song’s credits include the original authors. Regarding the song’s development, Anna stated:
“Gasolina was born by chance while I was listening to the song “Las Divinas” from “Il mondo di Patty” on YouTube. From there, I immediately wrote to [Young] Miles, who initially didn’t take me seriously, asking him to actually make a song following the sound of this melody. And so, starting from the original song, we built everything else; it’s a tribute.”
