Bocca di Rosa is a song written in 1967 by Fabrizio De André together with Gian Piero Reverberi. It is one of the author’s most representative songs and has entered the Italian collective imagination, so much so that the expression “pink mouth” is used in common language, even if incorrectly compared to the meaning of the song’s lyrics, in a metaphorical sense, as a synonym for “prostitute”.
