Non voglio mica la luna is a song composed by Zucchero Fornaciari, Luigi Albertelli and Enzo Malepasso, presented at the 1984 Sanremo Festival in the interpretation of Fiordaliso.
The lyrics are about a woman who wants a bit of solitude, to be alone and look at the stars and have a bit of time for herself, and make love to the man she loves.
1984 was the artist’s third participation in the Festival, and it was her leap in quality: she was also successful outside Italy, especially in Spain and Latin America. The 45 rpm record had Un tipo as its B-side. For the occasion, the album with the same title was reprinted.
Fiordaliso was the singer who achieved the best placement in the Sanremo charts of that year. The single was a great success, so much so that it received the Gold Record and was placed in third place in the chart of the best-selling singles of Sanremo 84.
In the Spanish version Yo no te pido la luna, the singer also became famous in Germany and Europe in general.
