Marco Masini is the debut album of the Italian singer of the same name, published in 1990. It contains the song Disperato, winner of the New Features section of the 1990 Sanremo Festival.
The album was created immediately after the victory in Sanremo, in a couple of months: some songs were ready but needed to be fixed, others were only sketched out, others were even completely created in those two months, such as the famous Ci would have the sea, born from an idea by Giancarlo Bigazzi.
The album was an extraordinary success and was the fourth best-selling album of 1990.
