Malinconia/La strada is a 45 rpm single by Riccardo Fogli, released in May 1981. The main song was also included in the album Campione, released in July. The other song, La strada, was contained in the 1980 album Alla fine di un lavoro.
Both songs were included in the Riccardo Fogli 2 collection, released in 1985.
Malinconia is the album that paves the way for Riccardo Fogli to victory at the 1982 Sanremo Festival. In fact, after a couple of moderately successful 45s, Malinconia is a real hit for the former Pooh, which remains at the top for a long time of sales rankings. The trio made up of Maurizio Fabrizio, Guido Morra and Fogli himself seems to work wonderfully, also thanks to the production support of Giancarlo Lucariello. Ultimately Malinconia is an easy-to-grasp album that has the advantage of staying in mind from the first listen.
