Stasera Che Sera, Tonight… what an evening! is the first piece of music by the Italian group Matia Bazar, released as the A-side of the single Stasera… che sera!/Io, Matia (1975). The text is written by Aldo Stellita, while the music is composed by Carlo Marrale and Piero Cassano.
Drummer Paolo Siani (who, the year before, had replaced Renzo “Pucci” Cochis in J.E.T.) collaborates with the group as a session musician. Immediately afterwards, Giancarlo Golzi arrives to complete the band’s first lineup.
The following year, the song was included in the debut LP Matia Bazar 1 (Ariston, AR LP 12283).
